Hello and Welcome all Laser Families,
I look forward to a great year for the Laser Swim Club. The 2008-2009 season will see our experienced coaching staff back for another season and welcomes two new coaches. Swimming is one of the greatest sports for young athletes it is coed, there are no tryouts (thus no cuts), it is virtually injury free and many friendships made at the pool turn into life long bonds.
Last season saw Laser swimmers reach new heights in swimming. The Club saw an increase in swimming at all levels with swimmers competing in both provincial and national championships including Canadian Olympic Trials. Laser swimmers set more than 20 new Club Records, a single season best, and placed 5th at Provincials in July.
