WELCOME BACK - 2025-26 Swim Season!
Hello TEAM and Welcome Back!!!
After a busy summer, seeing LASER athletes at Canada Games, Short Course Nationals and one very special Paralympic athlete, currently at WORLDS, the coaching staff are super excited to get back to basics, building our base and diving into the 2025-26 swim season. We had a very successful last season, and we have no plans on slowing down with building our development programs and the performance of our competitive stream. Lots of great things planned for this upcoming year, in and out of the pool.
Our training and competition schedules are now posted on the website, as well as lots of other great info such as equipment, TEAM gear, program details, photos from last season and our TEAM calendar, which is the best place to go for updates, cancellations etc. As we are now one week into the season, already the energy and excitement on deck and in the groups, is creating a great positive and productive environment, and it looks like it will be a year filled with lots of fitness and fun. Looking ahead try and stay up to date, and if you're able, please get involved with the club, we can always use volunteers and officials, and finally if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to our club admin - Marcia (office@laserswimming.ca), Head Coach Ryan (ryan@laserswimming.ca) or Coach Chris (chris@laserswimming.ca).

Looking over these stats from last season, as a coach it really showcases how far we've come since September 2024, especially in regard to TEAM depth and racing the 'Harder Events' - WAY TO GO TEAM! Looking ahead our message to athletes and parents remains the same; stay committed, trust the process (consistency is key, to progress in the pool), show up and do the work, and enjoy the great journey that is age group swimming.
Remember; Happy, Healthy Swimmers, Swim FAST!!!
