Note that declaring your attendance for this meet does NOT automatically signs you up for team travel. When you accept the meet you will be asked a second question about taking part in team travel. Please see below the description of the team travel option:
We are looking to create a team travel event for our swimmers in order to build the team cohesion and give them the unique experience of team travel. Please talk to your swimmer about this exciting opportunity and encourage them to join us for this team travel event.
- There will be space for the first 49 swimmers who sign up for team travel on the event declaration page.
- A $250 deposit is required. The deposit will be automatically charged to your account upon declaration.
- The deposit is expected to cover a large portion of the total cost, with exact cost to be determined once sign up is closed and meals have been ordered.
- Team Travel sign up deadline: October 5, 2026 or when we reach 49 swimmers, whichever comes first.
Chaperones:
- Once sign up is closed, we will be looking at the number of swimmers who plan to attend and we will be assigning chaperones as necessary. If you are interested in joining us as a chaperone, please email vicepresident@laserswimmiing.ca and indicate your name and the name of your swimmer. Interested chaperones will be kept on a list and contacted based upon need once sign up is complete.
Please note:
- Swimmers 11 years and older are welcome to ride the team bus and stay in the hotel rooms with the team.
- Swimmers 10 years old and over are welcome to ride the bus with the team to Regina.
- Those 10 years old and younger must book their own hotel room and arrange their own travel.
