Note that declaring your attendance for this meet does NOT automatically signs you up for team travel. When you accept the meet you will be asked a second question about taking part in team travel. Please see below the description of the team travel option:

We are looking to create a team travel event for our swimmers in order to build the team cohesion and give them the unique experience of team travel. Please talk to your swimmer about this exciting opportunity and encourage them to join us for this team travel event.

• Swimmers will be departing Saskatoon early on Friday, January 16 and returning to Saskatoon on the night of Sunday, January 18.  Prince Albert Northern Bus Lines will be providing all transportation.
• Swimmers will be staying together at the Fairfield Inn and Suites, located at 3915 Albert Street, while in Regina.
• Each hotel room will have 2 queen beds, and the hotel will provide free breakfast each morning.
  • All other meals will be pre-ordered ahead of time with more information and order forms to come once sign up is closed.

As of right now, the meet package is not yet available, but we do anticipate that there will be sessions on the afternoon of Friday, January 16 the morning and afternoon of Saturday, January 17, and the morning and afternoon of Sunday, January 18. As more information becomes available, we will let you know.

• There will be space for the first 50 swimmers who sign up for team travel on the event declaration page. 
• A $450 deposit will be charged to your account once the team travel sign up is closed.
• The deposit will cover a large portion of the total cost, with exact cost to be determined once sign up is closed and meals have been ordered.
•  Team Travel sign up deadline: December 5, 2025 or when we reach 50 swimmers, whichever comes first.

Chaperones:

• Once sign up is closed, we will be looking at the number of swimmers who plan to attend and we will be assigning chaperones as necessary. If you are interested in joining us as a chaperone, please email events@laserswimming.ca and indicate your name and the name of your swimmer. Interested chaperones will be kept on a list and contacted based upon need once sign up is complete.

We have only blocked rooms at the hotel for swimmers, coaches, and chaperones. Once we have final numbers, some of these rooms may become available to parents who are interested in traveling to Regina, but in the event there are no extra rooms, or those wanting to book earlier, parents are always welcome to call the hotel at any time and book a room at their convenience.

Please note:

• Swimmers 11 years and older are welcome to ride the team bus and stay in the hotel rooms with the team.
• Swimmers 10 years old and over are welcome to ride the bus with the team to Regina.
• Those 10 years old and younger must book their own hotel room and arrange their own travel.
